You're so right; people who write lists of "needs" in a dating profile, rather than sharing something real about who they are, tend to be... "off." Stuff like "I need loyalty" reeks of baggage and maybe even an authoritarian personality. Stuff like "No drama" makes it sound like they already expect drama... which is a red flag. But people who can just share themselves in a profile with no expectations attached? Those are the people who seem more likely to have their emotional shit together. Thank you for illuminating this!
