Yes! I believe that compatibility ultimately comes down to having compatible values more than anything. Hobbies, interests, appearances, goals, etc. can all change — but values generally stay pretty constant, and since they speak to the overarching vision of a world that someone wants to cultivate, they're an excellent factor on which to evaluate a match.
