Yes, being an immigrant certainly makes a person more vulnerable than otherwise! I realized she probably saw me this way (if she had bad intentions, that is).

As for racism, I’ve observed sadly from candid discussion among women of many races that basically all races of women are fetishized in different ways, and thus face danger for different reasons. Sad reality of womanhood, and I hope society becomes more enlightened soon…
