FWIW, on Day 7 after that one was published, I saw that it was yanked from distribution / curation. Disappointing, of course, since writers want people to be able to continue finding their best work. But my story, despite over-delivering on its title, and despite my qualifications for writing about exactly the topics explored therein (as someone with training in sociological research AND in the mental health field), was deemed clickbait. And so it sits. Effectively — deliberately — stifled by the powers that be...

I wonder how many claps and comments it would’ve gotten otherwise?

On the plus side, at least some readers told me that the story helped them or inspired them in some way — and that’s basically my intention anytime I publish. :)

I'll definitely have to try this Archives hack to find other stories that aren't being shown...
