Well said! I'm a deeply sexual, physical person, but I have very little desire to pursue sex for sex's sake with people I don't already know and trust. (I used to, but it tended to be disappointing.) Added to this, for medical reasons, I'm unable to use the most reliable medical methods of prescription birth control, so the risk of pregnancy with a fairly-unknown partner who tries to stealth me is not a risk I want to take.

That said, with every one of my partners, I've been the one with a more passionate sex drive, as well as being more exploratory than most of them. Compared to anyone I've ever dated or slept with, I'm probably less promiscuous, but if I were actually IN a relationship, you bet I would be wanting — and LOVING — sex all the time.
