Well, as the story said, withholding sex in and of itself isn’t abusive. If you missed that—and if you also missed the reference to gender-neutral societal influences, as well as the gender-neutral references to abuse and abusers — then perhaps you didn’t have the opportunity to read the story carefully. But that’s okay. It’s still great that you have an interest in raising awareness of the fact that abuse can be perpetrated by or against any gender!
