This was awesome!.... and the caption for the final photo had so much sass that it made me laugh. ;) Great finish.

Anyway, I never got into shows like the ones you talk about here, but the reasons you outline are probably precisely why I was viscerally repelled by them. The 2000s were mean; I often think of absolutely horrid pranks that people suffered through on Punk'd and wonder why meanness was considered such a spectator sport.

Then again, my family has recently tried to get me into the enormous phenom that is Yellowstone, and I realize that meanness-for-entertainment hasn't really gone out of style quite yet...
