This is exactly why I never adopted it. I admired the brave pioneers who did, but you hit the nail on the head here...

Some changes and new features I would like to see:

- superscripts for footnotes (or clickable superscripts for linking to outside resources)

- allowing users to resize the dimensions of an image once uploaded, rather than having to upload illustrations to a third-party website for the sake of resizing them first. (It's not always necessary that a photo be gigantic.)
