This is beautiful, Helen. I fully believe that the spirits of our loved ones communicate with us: those who have passed, those who are yet to be born (who’ve been connected to us in previous lives), and even those who are flesh-and-blood living right now. I’m very happy that you’ve had these experiences of sensing your parents’ love for you in such special ways.

In the fact that your father appeared in a dream wearing the same hospital gown your mother did (or, at least, a hospital gown representing it), I see something else: a sign, perhaps, of just how much “the same” your parents might have been on the level of the soul.
