Unfortunately, this same criminal thought pattern is also present in the toxic masculinity imbedded in our culture, from the school sports field up to our elected officials. They perpetuate the idea that anything short of a trip to the ER isn’t actual harm and they teach this to our children. It's a current of thought that give tacit approval to abusive behavior.
