This is 100% true, but I think Allison is pointing towards the fact that Black women are vilified even more for speaking out. White women are seen as troublemakers and traitors to their men, but if the man in question is a man of color, the law will most likely take the white woman's side anyway. Black women, by contrast, are seen as traitors to their own race and still don't enjoy the same level of protection from the law. It's a bad situation all around. :(
