That's interesting about people reading you as Jewish too, Patti! Fwiw, three of my grandparents tested with 23andme, so the product is able to tell me how much of my DNA ultimately came from which one... and it turns out that my half-Jewish grandma, whom I resemble more than any of them, contributed the smallest percentage of my DNA (among the four). So it is very possible to have ancestors whose features you've inherited, yet they don't make a big showing in your results.

Before I ever tested, I felt a strong connection to Jewish culture and history. I always rationalized (indeed, suspected — based on dreams, visions, etc.) that I'd perhaps lived a previous lifetime as a Jewish person, and I still think this is the case. Who knows, maybe you did too, and the people who presume you to be Jewish are subconsciously remembering you from a previous lifetime in which you were? ;)
