Thanks for your concern, Levi. But I wouldn’t call these guys “losers” just because they had some gaps in their emotional intelligence. In fact, some of these guys stayed loosely in my life to this day, and we’re still on friendly terms. I lived in a college town years ago when I met them, though, so their behavior fit the general age demographic. It was what it was at the time. (And demographics aren’t really a function of my personality, so...).

I’ve found it amusing, though, how many GROWN men have apparently resonated so deeply with a piece about college kids’ behavior as to feel triggered by it. ;)
