I didn’t realize this piece would resonate with so many people when I posted it, but your comment did inspire me to look into submitting to the Huffington Post. Unfortunately, it seems that they only take pieces that haven’t already been published elsewhere — so, too late on this one. Maybe in the future though, I can try there.

I’m glad to hear you feel so content with where you are in life too! To be honest, learning this lesson for me was a matter of hindsight… but I have felt fortunate in the wake of the epiphany all the same, and it makes periods of solitude in the now feel all the more empowering and “full.”
