Thank you for your comment, Joanne. I've watched a few episodes too along the years. I appreciate your perspective; I forgot just how young Kylie was when the show began. You're right. It indeed feels unfair to blame Kylie for "her" impact on society, when she herself was under so much tremendous pressure. I'm glad that others are able to see it the same way. 💜
As for the other sisters, I personally found it liberating that Kim helped to make curves fashionable; I was coming of age during the heroin-chic era of female beauty ideals. Kim became famous while hanging out in the limelight of Paris Hilton — who was likewise extremely slender. It's important to remember that, even before their surgeries, the Kardashian sisters were NATURALLY quite curvy. I appreciate that they helped make it "okay" to have that type of figure. (But I don't disagree that the impact their cosmetic procedures have had has been unhealthy on the whole.)
