I definitely agree that there’s a big difference between “love” and “relationship.” I think of “twin flames” as a label for a type of connection — and a connection can either become a relationship or not, depending on the intentions, willingness, and openness of both parties. Some loves don’t survive the attempt at creating a relationship because, as you point out, relationships can be hard.
When the twin flame community talks about feeling “divine” love, my sense is that they’re talking about something more (and different) than the sheer mystique of being strangers who view each other through rose-tinted glasses. But your comment raises some great points for further writing on the topic! Like… what DOES it mean when twin flames talk about experiencing this love in a divine way? Perhaps I’ll write about that in the future, now that you bring it to mind. ;)
