Thank you for sharing your experience, Irina, and I’m glad that what I said resonated with you. Yes, I’ve heard lots of stories of victimization in connections that people consider to be “twin flames,” and that always made me sad — and confused.

Who’s to say how things really are for sure, but I always had this idea that twin flames would never want to hurt each other. Because they are each other. So hurting your twin flame would feel like hurting yourself. And there is such a sense of reverence between twin flames that causing pain to the other would feel heartbreakingly unthinkable.

I was also under the impression that this is why twin flames supposedly often steer clear of each other (in separation phases); they sense they aren’t ready for the connection, and they don’t want to hurt the other, so they keep a wide berth.

But again… who’s to say how it really is? ;) I guess, in the end, as with everything on the spiritual path, it’s up to each of us to decide what our truth is, and there are many valid paths and points of view. :)
