Tbh, while an iPhone suits the purposes of most trips I’ve taken during the past couple years, I’ve been interested in getting a GoPro. They seem like the best of multiple worlds; waterproof and durable, but small, with (I gather?) image stabilization for times when you want to capture images/video on-the-move. I agree that having an upgraded camera is worthwhile.
