Sometimes you almost have to wonder whether all this censorship is designed to keep women ignorant of the "violence" of pregnancy and birth. The US is a society that is very pro-birth; if more women understood just how difficult the entire experience was not just logistically but had a clearer view of how difficult it is on the body, I wonder what that would do to birthrates.
