Personally, I don't think it even needs to go so far as taking a post down or banning a user. I think, however, that it's important, at the very least, to flag harmful posts as harmful, because these kinds of things run a (great) risk of compounding mental health and social issues for uncritical readers — whether or not the author ever seeks or obtains help for their own struggles.
