Penguin, thanks, you articulated this quite well. Duck somehow assumed I was calling them a misogynist, and I wasn't; I hadn't presumed to know their stance. I was just refuting the idea that feminism necessarily entails matriarchy — which is, as you put it, a very fringe kind of stance, yet also a popular straw man that a lot of anti-feminists put forth when they want to defend their ability to continue the systems and norms that oppress women and suppress female autonomy.
