Oh, totally. Sadly, I've seen this with female doctors too, because they're trained within a very patriarchal system. I wish I weren't so acquainted with these facts, but I wrote a whole viral essay last year on medical sexism. :( Just encountered more of it yesterday and came home in tears. So. fucking. frustrating. that this is the world we currently have.
