Oh, good, I'm glad I wasn't just rambling nonsensically, lol! Yes, I agree that a lot of people in power have unhealthy communication styles and, well, psyches. I lean towards believing that most people want to be kind and level-headed.... but a lot of the ones who are unwell are also ashamed of themselves on some level, and therefore really resist admitting that they're doing ANYTHING wrong. A society-wide reckoning where we finally know how to identify abusive habits as abusive would be very challenging for these people, so I think they will resist that as long as possible. :(

As you said, all we can do is keep spreading the good word!
