Oh, for sure. To be honest, I can’t fathom how hard packing is for people with chronic health problems. One of my aunts, for instance, routinely has to carry oxygen, insulin, syringes, a glucometer, and a whole arsenal of other medicines I don’t even remember when she travels. (Frankly, it’s probably because of her that I even had the presence of mind to realize I should add this line. I didn’t want to sound like, “THESE TIPS CAN WORK FOR EVERYONEEEE!”… because, sadly, they can’t.)
Airlines should allow an extra bag free of charge for people in such positions.
