I’m sorry to hear that love’s been so rough on you, Paul. But I admire people who realize that they need to take a step back from the ups and downs of romance in order to give themselves the gift of inner peace (or, at least, to give themselves a chance at cultivating it). Good for you for knowing what you need — and for not giving up on yourself when things got too difficult!
