I'm so sorry for the health issues you're going through. Thank you for sharing this story though, and Buschelman's. Stories like these are so important. Medical sexism is a HUGE problem. I've faced my share of it too. Like how, most recently, I was diagnosed with hemophilia — but only after a QUARTER OF A CENTURY of routine hemorrhaging. Because obviously, women are just hysterical and complain too much and can't possibly be correct about their own bodies. *Eye roll.*
