I'm not sure what you mean here, Emiliya, but I don't have anything against gay men. My point in the essay was simply that I don't include specific references to gay men in my stories because my stories tend to be about me and women... and gay men aren't women. I hope that explains it!

As for men suffering, sad to say, yes, the patriarchy hurts them too. (Albeit, not to the same extent as the patriarchy hurts women.) Unfortunately, a lot of the anti-feminist guys out there don't realize that the patriarchy is what's hurting them, or that feminism is aiming to dismantle that machine — so those guys get mad at the wrong people. :-/
