I love your reminder at the end about the stresses and pressures on people in agricultural/rural areas. I worry about these stresses with respect to the growing popularity of “superfoods” in trend diets around the Western world, since commodifying foods can create (so many kinds of) unfair pressures on the people who cultivate them. It’s always nice to see agricultural solutions that focus on sustainability, in harmony with local environments and cultures. Sounds like interesting work!
