I hear you, Jason. And I'm sorry your positions all disappeared. Where I'm struggling to see answers, though, is.... what does "making lemonade" look like here? For instance, for a long time, everyone said that seeking jobs in tech was the answer — but those fields are in danger now too. It's hard to know what kind of training will be robust to the next wave(s) of AI development. Any educational investment can quickly become obsolete. And as someone from the US with student debt behind me already (and I'm far from the only person in this position), not to mention the awful economy.... taking a gamble on new degrees/certifications is really not wise.
Not arguing here, but genuinely curious: what are your thoughts? What do you think is a safe field — safe enough to be a worthy investment?
