I feel this so much. I'm also 37, and I saw a fertility doctor last week for the first time to ask about freezing eggs. Still not sure if I will do it, but I'll have to decide in the next couple of weeks (or very short months). All these years, I've been waiting until I feel like I have the right guy, and yet I also can't see myself IMMEDIATELY proposing that we have kids together; I still want the chance, like many couples have had, to enjoy being a twosome first, seeing the world together, nurturing their love without interruptions. That said, I know it wouldn't be wise to grant myself such a blessing, since the biological clock ticks. The pandemic came at an awful time. I've told myself if I'm still childless and haven't found the right guy in the next few years, I might ask a friend if I can have his baby. While it's nice to think I might have a backup option, I always saw myself having kids in a different kind of scenario.

I'm hoping there's still time to have it all. Same for you. :)
