I agree to some extent and would also welcome some form of this feature, but it's tricky, especially as trolls on other platforms (e.g., Goodreads) make a point of trying to ruin careers by giving bad reviews, just because they don't like diverse writers. All it would take is a handful of determined trolls to kill a genuinely thoughtful story. The potential for abuse is huge.

What I'd personally like to see is that Medium introduce a system whereby a curated piece can gain "immunity" after a special review, so that no matter how many complaints the piece gets, the troll dissenters can be handily screened out (in such way that the platform doesn't have to listen to them anymore) and the story can stand.
