"How do you get razor rash from a wax?"

Haha, good question! I don't know an alternate term for it, but it's the same thing that happens in razor rash; the hairs that broke become sharp and cause a rash of ingrowns. Itchy, painful, swollen, red, very uncomfortable. Is there a special word for that when caused by wax?

I also like the bandana idea; I take one when I'm going to a beach so that I can cover my face (while I sit/lie down) or scalp with something lightweight to avoid excessive sun. Meanwhile, the duct tape and Swiss army knife remind me of watching MacGyver as a kid. I really appreciate all the suggestions! They're all great. :)
