Hi Kristina! Thanks for your reply. If you want to write an analysis of my viral piece itself (e.g., the elements of a viral story), I don’t mind, but I’d rather your long-form piece *not* address the distribution status/curation matter, as I never exactly received clear answers on that. Various popular writers on Medium have mentioned that some of their most popular stories have lost their distribution status after going viral, so I guess it’s a thing that happens sometimes (though, of course, that’s disappointing even as a reader, because I’d certainly like to see stories whose quality was high enough to go stratospheric!). I’d be glad to keep you in mind and let you know, though, if I ever write anything exploring the curation/distribution issue myself! :)

As for relationship/love stories, I honestly haven’t done much research on Medium to figure out which other homes might work for that type of content in quite the same way that P.S. I Love You did. If a dating/relationship story has a feminism/survivor angle, I sometimes publish those pieces with Fearless She Wrote. Once, I also wrote a piece about healthy communication surrounding sex, and I submitted that to Sexography. I’ve also published a couple pieces on general emotional intelligence (though not specifically on relationships) recently in Curious. And the latest piece I wrote about love had a distinctly spiritual angle, so I just published that in my own, single-authored publication on spirituality (The Casual Mystic)… but I might’ve tried submitting it to PSILY if PSILY had still been active. I’m sure there are plenty of great ones (in addition to the aforementioned pubs) that I don’t even know about!

Thank you for your interest in my experience, and I hope that helps!
