My old day job was actually academic copyediting, rather than copywriting. But no, it was not lucrative, lol. I decided to pivot to Medium because life basically gave me a big nudge to drop the editing, and the verdict remains out on whether that’s truly a good choice. ;) I’m really happy to hear that Medium has helped you book gigs!
