Herb, thank you for offering these examples and for lending a dose of optimism! I really hope that we do get to a point where nude photos are no big deal. You raise compelling points.

In fact, as I recall, nude/topless photos of Angela Merkel surfaced at some point years ago, taken on an outing that Merkel once took at a nude beach or some such locale… but Germans are, by and large, far less prudish than we are over in the States, so it wasn’t really an issue. I just hope we also arrive (soon) at the point where we stop looking at consensually unclothed bodies as scandalous. And your reply reminds me that we are indeed edging towards that happy future. :)
