Frankly, this is absolutely crucial. I completely agree with you on that. But I just want to add:

It's important to remember that this is also a decision men must make. They need to decide to find the courage to do it. Because healthy social change doesn't always start with a supportive environment. It starts with pioneers brave enough to reject the status quo in what little ways they can while striving for a more humane world.

Just like the female pioneers of feminism did — they didn't wait for society to support them. They went out, made new kinds of choices, and expressed their claim to a more egalitarian world, despite the vociferous reproach and ridicule of all those retrogressive imbeciles who wanted to hold them back.

Men can do the same. The smart, strong, brave ones can, at least. They can dare to be tender and vulnerable, even before society is fully ready to witness tender, vulnerable men. I believe in them. 💜
