Excellent piece, Ossiana. I also got sick of this, and I decided to write an FAQ that I could handily copy/paste anytime a man asked me an asinine, whataboutist question. The funny thing? NONE OF THEM commented on that piece — unlike on my other feminist or "women's experience" essays — because they already knew they'd been shut down. ;) I'd recommend just copy/pasting what you wrote here as your response any time a bad-faith reader needs to be enlightened in the future.
