EXACTLY! And yes, I have the same questions as you: why do they take the time to do this?

It’s so interesting because I don’t usually get offended by things that don’t apply or resonate with me. And if I do, I make a point not to comment negatively or question someone’s personal experience.
You’d think people would understand the concept of a personal essay or memoir before they read one!

EXACTLY! And yes, I have the same questions as you: why do they take the time to do this? Why do they expect a writer to produce content tailored directly to THEIR personal preferences? Will we ever know?... ;)
