"Even WE are there now in the afterlife." Yes. I believe this entirely. I think only a part of our soul experiences Earth. Earth is a focus of awareness, not the entire container of our cosmic experience at any given time. I've felt that I've had contact with my past-life self/selves, and even (I suspect) the past-life self of a loved one — both of us incarnate right now. Simultaneously, many of my clair experiences have involved contact with the souls of incarnate people — sometimes sought, and sometimes (especially when it first began) spontaneous. In a sense, I believe our past, current, and "after"lives are all happening in tandem. It stops breaking the brain when you stop trying to fit it into Earthly constructs and just accept it as a matter of fact.... but yeah, mind-blowing all the same! ;)
