Elle, this was a beautiful tribute to Devon. I really enjoyed reading this, and I especially loved how you let Devon tell some of his ( / her / their?) story in Devon's own words. Thank you for sharing!

Also, Ed sounds like such a sweet friend, trying to protect Devon's image in your eyes even after Devon passed away. I'm glad that people as loving and respectful as you and your mother were the ones to handle Devon's legacy.
