Debra, thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry to hear that you and your granddaughter have been badgered over your noses. The funny thing is, while my nose resembles my half-Jewish grandma's more now, my previous nose looked a lot like the noses on my mother's (Italian) side of the family. I never knew until I decided to get a nose job myself that both she and her mother had their noses reshaped also. In their cases, there were medical reasons for their surgeries, but their surgeons apparently decided that their prominent Roman noses were too much. Neither of these women criticized my pre-op nose, but it came as a shock in my early-20s to realize I would be the third generation of nose jobs. If I'd grown up seeing these beautiful women with noses that still looked more like mine, I might've felt less insecure. It will help your granddaughter's self-esteem tremendously that she has you as a role model and a supporter. 💜
