Aw, that made me smile, Harley. Alex is a wonderful person. Our "romantic friends" thing ended because he had to move to another country. If we felt more romantically toward each other, we probably would've tried to make something committed out of it, but what we had was simply perfect for where we were in our lives at the time and how we've felt about each other.

Frankly, I never imagined that a not-quite-romantic relationship could be the best relationship I'd ever (thus far) had, but it was, and I'm truly grateful for the experience — and for Alex. Thank you for reading!
